This year we concluded an agreement for cooperation with the Spanish stone fabricator and distributor MarmolSpain, which will soon celebrate its sixtieth year in business. Large slabs of ceramic countertop material, with a thickness of 12 mm and various surface finishes, are the most popular in Spain. Nevertheless, Technistone’s products have managed to gain a foothold in the market, despite strong competition from three local producers of engineered stone, one of which is world-famous.
Our new distributor is proud of its showroom, which occupies a thousand square metres and showcases the best in the use of natural and engineered stone. Part of the showroom is a ‘networking space’ named in honour of the firm’s founder, J.M. Beltrá Díez. The space is used for training courses, exhibitions, and other presentations. MarmolSpain’s headquarters includes a 3000 m2 warehouse area. The firm has other warehouses in Madrid, Mallorca, Tenerife, and Gran Canaria.
MarmolSpain’s branch in the Canary Islands focuses on supplying TechniStone® engineered stone for the reconstruction of hotel complexes. Our export manager, Martin Zajíček, visited MarmolSpain this fall in order to launch our cooperation and introduce our new products for the year 2023.
