Installation of a project that leaves no room for error and is satisfied only with a perfect outcome. Part of that is TechniStone® in the Noble Pro Frost and Noble Ivory White decors. What does the architect have to say about it?
The complete reconstruction of a large space requires harmonizing design with the structural possibilities of the layout. That’s the only way to create an interior that will leave the investor satisfied. Teaming up the Pavlis Studio, the architectural firm BekArch, and the stonework firm Bruno Paul couldn’t possibly result in anything but perfection.
Architect Jan Bek from the BekArch firm always tries to bring something different and technically new to every project. In this project, it was shelving made with TechniStone® in the kitchen and over the bar in the dining room. Altogether, the shelves in the kitchen are more than four meters long, and LED strips are embedded in them to light the working area.
“The kitchen and its furnishings correspond to the high demands placed on that area. It was also important to establish appropriate work zones and use every inch of space. For example, we built a spacious pantry under a new staircase, which is not obvious at first glance. It looks like an ordinary cabinet,” says the architect.
Studio Pavlis likes engineered stone and uses it in the majority of its projects. “TechniStone® is unique because of its surface, which is easy to maintain. It doesn’t absorb the liquids that are usually produced by foods in everyday cooking. We appreciate its availability in different thicknesses and designs. Technistone’s decors are attractive, and in many cases perfectly imitate the look of natural materials.” Engineered stone does however require professional installation on perfectly flat horizontal and vertical surfaces. “If such a flat surface can’t be achieved, the end result will be unsatisfactory and affect the overall appearance of the project. It also makes the stonemasons’ work harder. We prefer to trust our projects to the proven professionals from Bruno Paul.”
